Interieur & Feng Shui

Lydia van Boom, a lifestyle and interior consultant, needed a suitable identity for her company that matched her activities, ranging from creative advice to interior design. Lydia has a master's degree in Feng Shui. A Study of Chinese Architecture - influenced by the five elements in nature. This provides her with a core method in approaching interior design solutions.

Inspired by strong Chinese luck and prosperity symbols, Lydia and I have used the five elements from nature to create a new intriguing symbol and form a recognisable logo. For the design, clear typography is combined with shades based on layers of earth and with this I have compiled a colour palette. In this way striking a balance between the work she does as a freelancer and her craft as an interior consultant.
